Ironman 70.3 Luxembourg
After years of fitness and occasionally participating in a running race, I started looking for a new sporting challenge. I had heard of the Ironman before and decided to sign up for half an Ironman in Luxembourg at the end of 2018. I had no triathlon experience, not even a road bike. After six months of training, I lacked the structure and knowledge needed to prepare myself properly. Fortunately, I found David's coaching and we quickly made an appointment. Thanks to David's tailor-made coaching and training schedules with varied workouts, I was able to train in a structured way and I became much more confident in the training process. Gedreven voor Ambitie
In the summer of 2023, I set an ambitious goal: a fast Ironman 70.3 by 2024 and an entire Ironman by 2025, without any triathlon experience. Because I started late (31) and want to lose as little time as possible to beginner mistakes, I've called in David's coaching since the end of 2023. I haven't regretted that for a day and I'm making progress in all areas. David helps with all my questions, thinks along and adapts my schedule to my circumstances. As prepared as I am now, I could never have started my first triathlon without help.

Trainen met een doel en passie
Every week I look forward to the new training week. Having a schedule adapted to my specific goals and level makes the training sessions challenging but achievable. I'm clear on what to do, it's just a matter of following the instructions, and I want to upload all scheduled sessions as soon as they're complete, because I know someone worked hard to create them and someone cares about the result. I also feel that there is a clear plan behind the whole thing and that every day is important. What I do today determines my improvement tomorrow, in a week, in a month, and so on. Having a coach who is self-driven, interested and goal-oriented also inspires me to want to get better. I've tried different coaches over the years. But with the interest, feedback, and availability that David offers, I'd say he has no competitors. If you want the best of the best, you're in the right place.

De eerste keer succes
Since the beginning of 2019, David has taken care of me and set up my weekly training plan with a view to the scheduled races I wanted to do this year. The goal was to set my personal records at various walking distances, but mainly to finish half an Ironman within 5 hours. The consultation here went well via Trainingpeaks, even if adjustments were necessary. The goals have all been achieved beyond expectations so far, which is why I am more than satisfied with David's guidance and the method he uses.

Motivation

Ironman Kalmar 2020
My goal - to be a finisher of Ironman Kalmar 2020. David and I were in touch in the summer of 2019 and it became very natural that he would guide me to my goal. David is sincere and talented. He is also very involved in my training. David started coaching me in August and after just a few weeks of structured training, I noticed a big difference. My running and endurance have improved a lot and I'm looking forward to getting even better! Although it is remote coaching, David is always there. When I ask something, I always get a quick answer.
